What is Trillium Natural Burial?

We are creating a sanctuary that welcomes all people and provides a natural burial option that restores the land. Trillium Natural Burial envisions at least 35 acres in either Thurston, Lewis or Mason counties, no more than one hour from Olympia.

We are in conversation with local partners seeking the right parcel of land for a conservation burial ground. We look forward to celebrating our opening in the future. This land will welcome all those seeking  a natural burial alternative and others seeking quiet refuge--- hikers, poets, bird watchers, dancers, painters and the bereaved.

Why Does Conservation Burial Matter?

Conservation burial protects our soils, water, wildlife and air. This well established, safe practice can provide a profound and comforting connection, between humans and nature, sustaining us all.
